Our digital classroom with over 300 easy-to-follow video lessons
The Palms Tutors is an online tutoring initiative that makes math education accessible to every child. As a social enterprise, our vision has grown to include providing free math lessons to as many children as possible while sustaining our mission through a few paid courses.
We understand that many children face educational barriers that can make even basic math challenging to learn. That’s why we focus on providing easy-to-understand video lessons for online access and building a supportive learning environment for learners in rural communities. Read Our Story Here

Community Engagement Through the First-2-Nine Club
In 2022, we founded the First-2-Nine Teenagers Club in Awa-Ijebu, creating a safe space for teenagers to learn, grow, and receive mentorship. The club has become a model for rural youth engagement.
We are committed to reinvesting a percentage of our income, alongside generous donations from sponsors and partners, into community outreach, empowering children with math mastery through competitions, book drives, tutoring, and mentorship. Our key initiatives include:
The Palms Tutors Math Challenge (2019): Awarding scholarships covering tuition and math textbooks to the top 30 students from three public secondary schools in Ogun State.
The Math R.Aid Program (2020): Connecting five (5) indigent students with volunteer online math tutors for a full school term, with data costs sponsored by a generous donation from the Alfred Pops Fund.
The Aropo Book Drive (2022): Donating over 200 early math textbooks to introduce preschoolers in underserved communities to foundational numeracy (basic addition).
The First-2-Nine Teenagers Club: Launched in 2021, this remains one of our most impactful outreach programs, dedicated to nurturing confident, responsible, and values-driven teenagers in rural communities through mentorship, life skills training, and faith-based support.
Our most recent and exciting project is the Palms Tutors Learning Hub, an initiative designed to provide a safe, digital, and values-driven learning environment for children in underserved communities. Based in Awa-Ijebu, a rural community in Ogun State, Nigeria, our hub aims to build numeracy and literacy skills in children who otherwise have limited access to quality educational resources.
In addition, we facilitate monthly mentorship programs to nurture a future generation of leaders with sound character.
